Job Description:

Deliver insights to help our clients turn data into action as a Data Engineer at GDIT. Your work will provide transformative solutions to our clients’ big-data obstacles and help advance the mission. Here, you can make a meaningful impact on our clients’ mission and on your career.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. Our work depends on a Data Engineer joining our team, contributing to the design, implementation and operation of data management systems for intelligence needs in support of a combatant command (CCMD).

HOW A DATA ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Demonstrates working knowledge using complex analytic methodologies, such as structured analytic techniques or alternative approaches, to examine biases, assumptions, and theories to eliminate uncertainty, strengthen analytic arguments, and mitigate surprise.

• Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems. Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies. Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.

• Supports the planning, designing, and optimizing data throughput and query performance.

• Demonstrates ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.

• Knowledgeable and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD Classification markings.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• TS/SCI, polygraph eligibility

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience

• Desired experience DoD, CCMD and / or Intelligence community experience

• Location: On Customer Site

• US Citizenship Required
