This position supports the Task Management Directorate at U.S. Pacific Fleet Headquarters Responsibilities You will receive, distribute, and track internal and external taskers. You will execute/track all tasks with established priorities and goals to enable timely task management completion. You will prepare correspondence and reports and assemble and disseminate reports on current tasking status. You will provide analytical reviews of completed documents to assist with the determination of subject, purpose, and relationship with other correspondence. You will create weekly status reports for distribution to the Directorates, providing current status of all taskers. You will utilize Microsoft Office Suite applications to perform duties as assigned. You will utilize oral and written communication to effectively articulate information while working in virtual and in-person teams. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing analytical support to the tracking and coordination of tasks, collaborating with other organizations directorates, and managing the content of collaboration software (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint) to ensure conformance with organizational timelines, policies and programs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
