This is where you come in...
As a Shared Services Manager for OSL's wireless and electronics retail, you are the key to our success. An inspiring leader who can help your store exceed sales targets. You'll have the opportunity to build your own sales team while managing operations and maximizing profitability. Reporting to the District Manager, you'll have a passion for sales and be an expert in customer experience.
Here are some of your daily tasks:
Building strong partnerships, including with Walmart Canada, manufacturers, suppliers, and our customers.
Supervising and managing wireless and electronics department personnel.
Evaluating team performance and objectives.
Continuous coaching to improve individual performance.
Administrative management including inventories, schedules, and budgets.
Selling cellular products from Canada's top suppliers and products in the electronics department.
You've got what it takes:
2 to 4 years of retail sales management experience - in wireless or electronics, a definite asset.
Proven ability to drive sales and service, as well as operational success through field teams.
Strong track record in budget management, sales forecasting, merchandising, and retail sales metrics.
Experience in recruitment, coaching, HR, and knowledge of Canadian employment standards.
Strong communication and presentation skills - we sell communications!
Good instinct for customer service: bias for action, attention to detail, problem-solving.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
