Reports To: TheLab Supervisor Assistantwill report to theLab Supervisor.

Job Overview: Assists Lab Supervisor in organizing and directing daily activities of the laboratory. Responsible for supervising laboratory personnel, conducting and overseeing quality control. First few weekswillbe spent on production line.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assists Lab Supervisor in supervising lab personnel: assigns personnel to stations and tasks, identifies bottle necks and prevents or addresses them
• Oversees daily startup and shutdown procedures and enforces strict adherence to procedures described in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Collects data and documents in appropriate form following SOPs
  • Fill volume
  • Production tracking
  • Quality control
  • Other
• Notifies Lab Supervisor and/or Management about out of spec data
• Assists Lab Supervisor in troubleshooting of issues with fill machines, labelers and other equipment to Identify root cause and address it appropriately
• Ensures quality of manufacturing
  • Proper fill volume
  • Proper cap tightness
  • Proper labeling and packaging
  • Other: vial validity, MTM validity
• Maintains correct volume and adjustments for fill machines throughout the production shift
• Meets production quotas when assigned
• Enforces strict PPE guidance alignment of all supervised personnel
• Assists Lab Supervisor in new staff orientation and training of clean room procedures
• Reports any issues with staff or procedures to the Lab Supervisor
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the laboratory at all times

PAY |$15 - $17 per hour (starts at $15/hr. while training for 2 weeks then increases to $17/hr. after completion of training) SCHEDULE |Full Time, Temp to Hire, Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6pm REQUIREMENTS|Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check. Showing up for your scheduled shift it vital to the success of this position. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO SHOW UP ON TIME AND WORK FULL SHIFT. Must come to work Healthy, as you are working in sterile environment. Masks may be requirement and temperature checks before the shift starts. Will work with a team of individuals.
