Position Summary

As a Supply Chain Manager, you are to drive supply chain operations to ensure that finished goods are available to meet customers demand and satisfaction, both B2B and B2C. All at the right location, at the right mome and whilst meeting quality and safety standards, aligned to HQ Supply Chain process & guidelines and managing costs.

Additionally, you are to also oversee the demand plan for Malaysia in accordance to Nespresso Demand Planning best practices, including close contact with local Marketing, Commercial

teams and flawless boutique supply operations.

Manage Warehouse & Logistics to deliver Operational Excellence

  • EnsureoperationalexcellenceinDistribution & FulfillmentManagementbyconsistently delivering exceptional 3PL services

  • Implementthedistributionnetworkplansforthemarket

  • Proposenewdistributionservicesinclosecollaborationwith3rdpartyvendorsand internal stakeholders

  • GuaranteecompliancewithNestléCorporateBusinessPrinciplesandSupplyChain Policies

  • Assurethatlegalobligationsaremetorexceeded(warehousingregulations)

  • Securethatallaspectsofour Warehousing operations arecompliantwithNespresso HQpoliciesandprocesses:ApplyWarehousingBestPractices/Organizetendersandselect themostsuitablewarehousingandtransportpartners/NegotiatecontractswithProcurementprocessesandestablishasoundrelationshipwiththeserviceproviders including robust conflict management.

Third Party Management

  • EffectivelymanageThirdPartyProvidersandServiceLevelAgreementsbymonitoring interactionsandtrackingcontinuouslythealignedKPIs,identifyingpotentialproblems, anddeterminingappropriateactionstomitigaterisksandensurequality

  • MonitorwaysofworkingofThirdPartiestoensurethatitisinlinewiththeNespresso brand purpose and in compliance with local regulations and Nestlé standards and policies.

  • Driveimprovementandinnovationdevelopmentopportunitiesintheservicesdelivered byThirdPartyProviders

  • Provideinputtoprocurementbasedonexpertiseandrequirementspriortosigning contractsandServiceLevelAgreementswithThirdParties.

Management Team Responsibilities Budget Management

  • Promotecostsavinginitiativestoimprovetheperformanceandcostsinwarehousing and deliveries

  • Manageandmonitorthebudgetwithinthesubdepartment

  • Ensurecorrectconstruction,controlandmanagementofthebudgetforwarehousing activities (cost budget for warehousing operations and possible investment

requirements)

  • ResponsibleforsettinganadequateWarehousingcostsdashboardforon-going monitoring

  • Driveimprovementsandefficienciesintheorganizationbycollaboratingwithother departments

Manage Demand Planning

  • OverseetheSupplyandDemandplanbyapplyingbestpractices,improvingprocesses, analyzing sales history and forecast data including stock coverage.

  • LiaisewithB2CandB2BandMarketingtoensurethatallnecessarylaunchorphase-out information has been correctly considered in the supply and demand plan

  • LeadtheMonthlyForecastReview(MFR)meetingandimplementtheoutcome

  • EnsureSKUreductionprogramsbeingperformed

  • Align with Commercial on forecasts based on statistical analysis

People & Performance Management

  • Developthepersonaleffectivenessoftheteambyregularcoachingandimplementation of learning activities

  • Buildastrongteamwhereteammemberscollaborateeffectivelyandunderstandtheir shared goals and purpose

  • Setindividualperformancegoalsthatprovideaclearlineofsighttoorganizational priorities and monitor progress towards achievement of goals by use of the PDP methodology

HQ & Market Reporting

Main requirements

  • ExperienceinasimilarcapacitywithanInternationalCompanywouldbeanadvantage (Demand and Supply Planning, Inter-market Supply Planning).

  • Education:MSc/MAlevelSupplyChainManagement

  • Professionalexperience:3-5years’ExperienceinSupplyChainManagement & 5-8years’ExperienceinDSP,WarehousingandLast-milelogisticswithahighquality consumercentricmindset(experiencedpreferablyinahighendluxurybrandorFMCG direct to consumers)

  • Experiencedpeoplemanager

  • ExperiencedwithLeanmethodologiesand3rdPartyManagement

  • Experienceinmanagingcomplexprojects
