HollyFrontier Logistics Coordinator in Petrolia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 1193145000 BASIC FUNCTION:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for carrier communications and invoices along with freight maintenance. This position will perform administrative tasks related to the Petrolia Logistics Department. Additional duties will be assigned and supervised by the Logistics Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (functions considered essential as defined by ADA)

Administrative tasks related to department. Receive/log/audit freight invoices. Review carrier statements - dispute & resolve freight invoice issues with all vendors. Maintain freight bill spreadsheet, assist with monthly freight accrual spreadsheet. Update delivered pricing/export/fsc spreadsheet with any carrier updates. Attach all related paperwork/correspondence for customer shipment packet - file and maintain outbound shipment filing. Enter orders and times on daily shipment logs - used for verification of any demurrage billings. Cross train within department, as needed.

Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their superior, as determined from timeto time in their sole and complete discretion.

EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.

PREFERRED EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:

A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of oneyear of job related experience is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Good problem-solving skills and logical thinking Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication Intermediate reading and writing skills Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations Proficient with spreadsheet, word processing, electronic mail and database applications Ability to read and comprehend policies, procedures, and instructions Maintain accurate records necessary by both company and Federal regulations Meticulous attention to detail

WORK CONDITIONS:

Office based with up to 10% travel by air and land required. Petroleum facility, warehouse/plant environment, out-of-doors environment, and driver based environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, and rotating equipment. Subject to all weather, temperature, and varying road conditions. Subject to rotating on-call availability (24/7).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs, pushing and/or pulling up to 25 lbs, climbing up to 6ft, perceiving color differences, ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential, and valid State driver's license and proof of insurance required. Job conditions may require strenuous physical activity.
