University of Pennsylvania Assistant Professor, Academic Clinician Track in the Department of Neurosurgery specializing in Brain and Skull Base Tumors in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Department of Neurosurgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of brain and skull base tumor surgery including fellowship training in brain/skull base tumor surgery. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree. ABNS eligibility or certification is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include the education of medical students, residents and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include the neurosurgical management of brain and skull base tumors and participation in the multi-disciplinary care of brain and skull base tumor patients, including clinical trials. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a future faculty affiliation at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC).

There may be research or scholarship opportunities to include clinical or collaborative research on brain and skull base tumors.
