Job Title: --Business Development – Building Operations Services (BOS)

Job Summary: --

Reporting to the Senior Vice President the Business Development Manager for Fluidics (BOS) develops, sales leads, closes building operation services account sales, and facilitates renewal of on-site maintenance contracts to meet his personal goals. Performs proposal development of other BOS opportunities identified by other Fluidics sales associates, all within the Fluidics sales territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

  • Achieve documented personal sales goals.

  • Participate in business meetings, trade association activities and other networking opportunities to develop “C” level contacts for proposal development.

  • Develop listing of prospects in appropriate target markets. Cold call, develop appointments and follow up through resolution.

  • Act as Proposal Manager for public bids and “bundled solution” opportunities not generated by other Fluidics sales associates. Assist the Senior Vice President with pricing development.

  • Support the overall BOS sales effort by developing and standardizing and centralizing prospecting letters, a proposal library, common RFP responses, benchmark cost data, JCAHO/FDA language, project profiles and letters of recommendation.

  • Assist other Fluidics sales associates with proposal development as required.

  • Participate as an active BOS team member in staff meetings, and annual business plan development, including a Sales Plan.

  • Create and maintain a list of expiring BOS contracts and contracts and proposals lost to competition for re-bid and renewal purposes.

Qualifications: --

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales preferably in the facilities management or Operations and Maintenance field

  • Related experience in property management a plus

  • Strong customer presentation skills and a demonstrated sales aptitude.

  • Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals.

  • Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.

  • Independent decision making is required.

  • Must possess a valid drivers’ license and meet MVR requirements.

  • Computer skills using MS Office required. Strong Excel skills are required.
