ERT Diagnostic Radiologist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: R14629 Primary Responsibilities Interpreting radiology examinations according to standard medical practice, GCP guidelines, protocol and charter definition and according to standard Bioclinica SOPs Participating in training sessions for the respective protocols Participate in training and on-boarding new readers. Works across all imaging TAs as needed depending on skills required Assists with Image Quality Assessment/Image QC as needed Participating in Quality Assurance as needed Reviewing protocols, charters and associated clinical and technical study documents as required Works with the development team to test the read applications Reviews the BRS to identify any inconsistencies from the imaging charter from the charter Participating in Inter-Reader and Inter-Reader variability assessments when required Participates in client meetings, bid defenses and sales and trade shows to increase sales and promote the global medical and scientific expertise of Bioclinica Work with the business development teams to support sales. National and international business travel when needed Participate in publications, WebEx meetings and other events to profile Bioclinica. Maintaining security of images, data and equipment. Participating in training and subsequently demonstrates competency in the operation of radiology research equipment Ensuring confidentiality of study protocols and subjects is maintained Participating in sponsor site visits and audits as requested Collaborating with management to resolve technical/radiological/study concerns and problems. Responsible for his/her continuing professional education Performing quality control on his/her work for completeness Identifying and participates in the performance improvement process Participating in the development, review and evaluation of SOPs and study specific procedures. Maintaining a safe work environment. Reporting workplace hazards immediately Other duties as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer or supervisor Helps with continuing monitoring of readers as needed Help with CMO reviews as needed Attends regular Medical Affairs and other internal meetings as needed Contributes to projects which improve overall company systems, procedures, and efficiencies Helps in assigning of readers to studies

Secondary Responsibilities

Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Establishing and enforcing departmental standards Reviewing and updating company SOPs related to Medical Affairs

Contributes to team effort by Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes Helping others to accomplish results

Qualifications: Education: Medical degree is required Advanced degree a plus Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology or equivalent training demonstrating competency

Experience: 5+ years experience working with clinical trials and/or within pharmaceutical environment required Experience with multi-modality imaging projects required Experience with medical imaging software a plus Experience working with computer software including Word, Excel, Access and Project preferred

Additional skill set: Ability to work in group setting and independently; ability to adjust to changing priorities Strong motivational skills and abilities - promoting a team based approach Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills and leadership skills Goal oriented Ability to project and maintain a professional and positive attitude Working conditions: Travel: 10-20% Lifting: 0-15lbs Other: Computer work for long periods of time
