Robert Half Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

Thriving, Philadelphia non-profit, seeks a Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst who can oversee and execute financial reporting activities. This Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly financial reports, researching complex accounting transactions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to regulatory bodies and stakeholders, developing and implementing financial reporting processes and controls, identifying areas for process improvement, performing comprehensive financial analysis, and assisting with all aspects of the external auditing process. The ideal Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst should have the ability to work with senior executives on strategic thinking and financial models for company growth and participate/lead special projects related to financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, and system implementations.

Responsibilities

· Create formation to automate better reporting processes where needed

· Work with accounting department to manage cash flow and balance sheet statements

· Liaise between GAAP and management reporting

· Enhance reporting packages for internal management purposes

· Finance lead in consolidated payroll system

· Construct plan around productivity metrics across organization

· Financial analysis of ongoing business

Requirements

The ideal Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.

Other requirements for the Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst role include and are not limited to:

· CPA preferred

· 3+ years of financial reporting experience

· Big 4/Regional/National or Higher Education/Non-Profit experience a plus

· Familiarity with Oracle also a plus
