General Job Description:
This is staff engineering work serving as the primary expert within a specific engineering discipline for a departmental program with a significant engineering staff or serving as the sole engineering resource for a department with no other engineering personnel.
The Requirements are as follows:
ANTICIPATED ELIGIBILITY Candidates who meet all eligibility requirements within 3 months of the application deadline *(by August 3, 2024) *will be admitted to this examination. Successful candidates will be placed on the eligible list but may not be hired or promoted until all requirements have been satisfied.
MECHANICAL SPECIALTY
*1. EDUCATION: *Completion of a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university, with major coursework in mechanical engineering.
**AND
2. EXPERIENCE: **Four years of engineering experience in the area of mechanical engineering, two years of which shall have been at the full performance level.
