Job Description

The Temporary Clinical Research Coordinator will support the Get Experience in Aging Research Undergraduate Program (GEAR UP) and the Center for Improving Core Delivery for the Aging (CICADA) teams with meetings, scheduling, reviewing, revising, and organizing materials, and meeting with and assisting scholars in both programs.

The Temporary Clinical Research Coordinator will support the Get Experience in Aging Research Undergraduate Program (GEAR UP) and the Center for Improving Core Delivery for the Aging (CICADA) teams with meetings, scheduling, reviewing, revising, and organizing materials, and meeting with and assisting scholars in both programs.

Tasks for the CICADA team:

  • Meet with regularly with the cores- LAC, ANC, REC. Meet biweekly with the LAC. Plan the CICADA lab schedule for the next year.

  • Review, revise and organize CICADA materials.

  • Incorporate RCMAR deployed materials and recommendations to scholar evaluation.

  • Meet with current and incoming RCMAR scholars

  • Attend RCMAR meetings

Some tasks for GEAR UP:

  • Plan and execute 2 GEAR UP events – one introducing the 2 cohorts, 1 “graduation” event.

  • Meet regularly with the 2 cohorts of GEAR UP Students one-on-one for quick check-ins.

  • Assist the SUMR program as needed.

  • Coordinate with the STAR program as needed.

  • Meet bi-weekly with the MPI team.

    $21.61 – 23.82/h r

35-40 hrs/wk for 3 months

Bachelors Degree and 1-2 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
