Lenovo Account Executive, Higher Education- AZ/UT/NV in Phoenix, Arizona

As a Higher Education Account Executive for Lenovo, you’ll be responsible for driving revenue, profit and customer satisfaction for existing and new accounts in Higher Education to achieve the required business targets which include revenue, profit, and solutions sales. You will champion the innovative power of our product portfolio to make our business partners more productive, collaborative and transformative. You understand Lenovo’s portfolio of award-winning products and develop strategies to help new and existing Higher Education customers find and implement the best solutions. This is a client facing sales role requiring deep industry experience, with expertise in how to close deals and a broad base of industry contacts. This role will be remote based at a major metro area in the territory (Open to Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque areas) with frequent travel to customers throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refining and bringing leadership to the current Public Sector Higher Education model to achieve overall revenue and profitability objectives for Lenovo.

  • Develop high level account relationships (C-level) to serve as a trusted consultant to our customers.

  • Develop the Higher Education sales strategy and set aggressive goals to grow key segments within which we compete.

  • Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing product and services developments.

  • Ensure that our customers receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service.

  • Build complex sales strategy to ensure both long and short term goals, objects and quotas are met.

  • Develop and manage key business partner relationships as required to meet the assigned goals and objectives

2HCampaign Basic qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience.

  • 7+ years of successful Public Sector technology solution sales is required

  • Ability to travel required; Both to customer locations as well as Morrisville, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in Higher Education and track record of closing new accounts is preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of top performance with multi-million dollar assigned targets

  • Executive relationship within account set.

  • Proven ability to develop strategies to penetrate and sell to large public and private higher education entities is preferred.
