Honeywell Advanced Application Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona

As an Advanced Application Engineer here in Honeywell Aerospace Service & Technology within the Flight Simulators group , you will play a n important role in providing technical support to our customers and business colleagues . Y ou will be responsible for provid ing s upport to the manufacturers of flight simulation devices used to train pilot s and maintenance personnel. Our team supports all Honeywell avionics products across all aircraft , military and commercial, by providing data, support, and software products . Our portfolio of supported Honeywell products includes EPIC, cockpit displays, FMS, surveillance products and more . You will report directly to the S&C Operations Director, and it is preferred that you work out of our Deer Valley, Arizona while adhering to a h ybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support to our customers and our business teams

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions

• Manage project timelines and customer commitments

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (cyber & export)

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

• Minimum of 4 years in application or system engineering or a similar role

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

• Knowledge of Primus Epic and APEX system

• Knowledge of I/O modules, AFCS, FMS, FBW, Displays, ESCAPE registries, DLS

• Knowledge of Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream, Agusta, Pilatus projects

• Familiarity with surveillance products MKV, EGPWS, TAWS, TCAS, WXRDR

• Experience with Configuration Management

• Ability to gather requirements

• Software development aptitude
