Description We are seeking an Associate to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is primarily focused on commercial litigation within a law firm setting. The Associate will be tasked with managing various aspects of complex commercial litigation cases, including but not limited to fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, and mediating disputes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct complex fact investigations to support ongoing litigation

• Conduct thorough legal research to assist in case preparation and proceedings

• Prepare and draft discovery documents to gather necessary information for cases

• Draft and prepare pleadings to advance court proceedings

• Defend and take depositions to gather testimonies from witnesses and involved parties

• Actively participate in mediation sessions to resolve disputes

• Maintain open lines of communication with opposing counsel and clients

• Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings

• Ensure all actions taken align with the law firm's standards and legal requirements

• Monitor client accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Possession of a degree in Law from an accredited institution

• Minimum of three years of experience as an Associate or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Commercial Litigation and Depositions

• Strong skills in Legal Research and Drafting

• Experience with Discovery processes

• Demonstrated ability to Draft Pleadings

• Proven experience in Preparing Pleadings

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Must possess a high level of detail oriented ethics and integrity.
