Job Title: Corporate FP&A Analyst

Reports to: Corporate FP&A Senior Analyst

Department: G&A

Status: Regular Full Time Position – Exempt/Salary

Position Value Proposition:

The Corporate FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing financial support to the organizational leadership through a partnership focused on operational excellence. This position is responsible for supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, preparing variance analysis, supporting global initiatives, and preparing recurring monthly reporting packages.

Core Responsibilities:

Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting:

  • Assist the development of the Annual Operating Plan, quarterly and monthly forecasts to ensure alignment with targeted growth and business objectives.

  • Implement and optimize forecasting processes and models to facilitate attainment of organizational objectives established by Executive team.

  • Maintain an effective budgeting and capital planning discipline in conjunction with operational management to ensure planned revenues, expenses and/or profit goals are met.

  • Work with operations team to build the annual capital budget for each subsidiary, facilitate the approval process and guide the monthly progress reporting to plan.

  • Assist business unit project level budgeting and forecasting as needed.

    Data Analysis and Metrics:

  • Oversee and continuously enhance reporting, dash-boarding and data analytic capabilities to facilitate management of operations and ensure timely decision-making.

  • Establish and maintain metrics to drive operational excellence.

  • Proactively review financial performance for compliance with the company's quarterly and strategic objectives. Lead the analysis and discussion of the period performance and trends and help drive the organization to find ways to hit or improve on targets.

  • Facilitate business growth and ensure the business is scaling appropriately through financial analysis support.

    SOP Improvements:

  • Drive continuous improvement of company-wide business processes and policies by identifying opportunities and directing initiatives to implement best-in-class practices.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and resolve complex issues and problems impacting operations, financial reporting and strategic initiatives.

  • Provide financial guidance and support for new initiatives.

  • Education/Training

    Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Finance or Accounting. MBA and CPA are preferred. Ongoing or Continuing Education in Finance and/or accounting workshops or seminars is desirable.

    Work Experience

    • 2-3 Years of FP&A/Corporate Finance or accounting experience
  • Strong computer literacy is essential, particularly across all Microsoft Office packages and various Enterprise Resource Planning, Financial Reporting and Business Intelligence

  • Preferred but not required; experience with the following programs: Oracle, Planful, PowerBI

  • Specialized Knowledge

    As outlined in the Core Competencies, an individual must have thorough knowledge and an advanced understanding of each competency outlined above in order to carry out the essential functions of this position. Specialized Knowledge is also required of customary construction terminology. Basic understanding of job cost accounting and project management concepts. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable with numbers and analytical thinking. You must have great attention to detail and excellent written and communication skills.

  • Software & Technology

    Various office equipment is used such as personal computer, scanner, copier, and fax. Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office software. Proficiency in software applications Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Work Environment

    Work is generally performed in a climate-controlled office area. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time throughout an 8–10-hour day.
