Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PERSONNEL SECURITY SPECIALIST T32, Position Description Number PDD2479000and is part of the AZ JFHQ ARMY, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located with the Joint Force Headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Personnel Security Specialist, responsible for assisting in the personnel security clearances process and supporting an Administrator/Adjudicator with suitability adjudications /determinations for the fitness and suitability on individuals for entry and retention in sensitive and non-sensitive positions required by Army. Additionally, this position will review personnel security background investigations and other source documents that determine suitability, fitness, for federal employment, and other credentialing decisions. Ensures investigative scoping items are met, personal identifying data and investigative questionnaire information is accurate and complete. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted: SSG/E-6 to SFC/E-7 Warrant Officer Candidate: WOC Warrant Officer: WO1/W-1 to CW2/W-2 Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess 35 Series MOS SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 24 months experience, education or training in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately. Able to apply procedures and directives by reading and interpreting technical material. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in writing, using presentation and report formats. Demonstrated ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures. Learned ability to assess the surrounding environment to recognize immediate risk levels. Must have the education and validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade for one of the seven organizational program disciplines and its applicable Security Series career. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
