Learn more at HonorHealth.com. Responsibilities Job Summary This position is responsible for planning and leading the work of Buyers and Procurement Associates. This leader will provide direction, leadership, operational expertise, and create a collaborative and service-oriented team. The responsibilities include the general supervision and coordination of daily network procurement activities as well as working buyer queues. Responsibilities include the management, supervision and development of Procurement staff, maintenance of daily activities, including but not limited to policies and procedures, reporting, compliance monitoring, communication standardization, vendor relations, exception management, and order management. Planning and leading the work of Buyers and Procurement Associates. Provides direction, leadership and operational expertise. Ensures purchasing strategies are implemented and executed in collaboration with the Director of Procurement and Procurement Liaisons. Overseeing the purchase of products, services, and equipment for the HonorHealth network. Manages processes with weekly metrics and by identifying, assisting, and coordinating standards across all buyers and facilities. Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply and service needs, and overseeing the purchasing team in their daily activities. Serve as the liaison to Accounting/Finance, Accounts Payable, facility Supply Chain Management (SCM), Supply Chain Services (SCS), for all procurement matters related to HonorHealth including problem resolution and process improvement to drive efficiency, timely payments, invoice accuracy, proper reporting, and operations for purchases. Provides leadership to staff. Interviews, selects, hire, and coaches staff. Advises, develops programs, orients/trains, and provides direction to work teams. Maintains a work queue like the Procurement Liaison such as capital Order management, service/blanket PO management, invoice resolution management or substitution/open order management. Responsible for driving processes and improvement initiatives within HonorHealth Procurement related to the oversight of operations. Management of projects and benchmarking activity to support the procurement process. Collaborates with all stakeholders at all levels of the organization and management to ensure procurement processes are in place and executed as intended. Develops and coordinates work plans for timely completion of daily order management tasks and details the variety of solutions required for completion. Covers buyer queues when needed. Adheres to established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, service excellence, quality assurance, and safety standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
