Honeywell Sr IT Analyst in Phoenix, Arizona

As a Sr. IT Analyst here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing IT solutions to meet the business needs of our corporate functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop technical solutions, and provide support for various IT systems. Your expertise in IT analysis and problem-solving will be crucial in driving efficiency and effectiveness across our corporate functions. You will report directly to our IT Manager, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our corporate functions by providing innovative IT solutions and support. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with a team of talented IT professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting on service operations for Enterprise IT Applications; metrics, productivity and customer satisfaction.

  • Organize and drive meetings with the application support, IT Service Owner, IT Business Partners and functional teams to review current activities and improve operating processes

  • Manage Disaster Recovery activities for applications supported by supplier

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Microsoft or Java or similar technology software and web applications tailored to the needs of Honeywell

  • Identify technology solution by collaborating with Solution Architecture, Vendors, Cross-functional subject matter experts

  • Act as the escalation focal point: when an incident requires a higher level of engagement, ensure various stakeholders are engaged and aware of the escalation request.

  • maintain operations capability with focus on preventative maintenance, and the ability to respond, resolve and implement corrective actions.

  • Responsible for change, release management, and testing associated with non-impact, operational readiness, and transition acceptance

  • Quarterly assessment of applications and infrastructure against security and compliance risks

  • Achieving "fast and right" results

  • Conveys information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across global teams

  • Partner with IT BP and Service Owners in driving Roadmap, Vulnerability Remediation, Cloud Adoption and Security Programs

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT analysis and solution design

  • Creatively applies a wide range of technical and/or management principles.

  • .NET or Java development background is required

  • Strong knowledge of programming languages and tools

  • Must be US citizen due to contractual requirements.
