LOCATION: DHQ – Phoenix, AZ
STATUS: FT 40 hrs/wk

QUALIFICATIONS
AA degree in Human Resource Management, or other business-related field is strongly preferred (Experience on a 2:1 ratio may substitute for educational requirement)
Working knowledge of: ADAAA, FMLA, FLSA, ERISA, GINA, COBRA, ACA, OSHA, WC, HIPAA, USERRA, EPPA, Title VII et. al.
Minimum of three years HR experience an organization with 500+ employees.
Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources to include HRIS, performance appraisals, compensation & benefits, progressive disciplinary process, regulatory requirements, and risk management issues.
Must be proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Service oriented team player who can take initiative, work independently and quickly adapt.
High attention to detail, consistent reliable follow through and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and meet established deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well with other employees, customers, and guests in keeping with TSA standards.
Professional appearance and customer service skills required.
Must be able to demonstrate good judgment, resourcefulness, flexibility, and problem solving.
Possesses sensitivity and awareness of diverse cultural perspectives and the ability to work with diverse populations.
Must pass a criminal background check
RESPONSIBILITIES
_ Job Postings_
Post jobs as requested internally, Indeed, and Territorial Job Board
Maintain proper format & language in keeping with TSA policy
Work with and communicate with local unit to ensure that they are receiving sufficient applicants
_ Job Descriptions_
Maintain the O Drive JD database
Assist the field in writing new job descriptions as needed
Secure DDHRM approval on all new & modified job descriptions
Ensure that SW formatting is maintained on all JD’s
_ Applicant Tracking System (ATS):_
Work with field units to ensure compliance with applicant tracking.
Manage applicant tracking on all job posting platforms
Manage applicant/manager response to openings and ensure status is recorded in the dbase
Learn, manage and utilize the UKG applicant tracking system
Ensure that applications are retained and managed as required by law as follows:
Retain for one year: applications, resumes, ads, postings, notices, rationale for hire and/or refusal to hire, job orders given to agencies

Read, review and be familiar with TSA EEO/AA plans
Assist in compliance related to ensuring that all applicants in the SW Division are given a voluntary opportunity to self-select their EEO, Disability and Veteran status
Assist in creating reports for OFCCP as needed.
Assist in working with the OFCCP compliance personnel in adherence to any conciliation agreements
_ Exit Surveys_
Provide exiting employees with an opportunity to give feedback on their TSA experience
Create reports to determine levels of employee satisfaction with the organization
Assist DDHRM with creating and updating surveys to maintain the highest degree of relevance.
Onboarding
- Act as backup for onboarding session both in-person and virtual
Other
- Assist with other aspects of the HR Department as needed and assigned.
