BluePearl Veterinarian - Criticalist in Phoenix, Arizona
BluePearl in Arizona is seeking a full-time boarded or residency trained Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian to join our brand new state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.
Our critical care service will employ highly qualified, dedicated technicians and excellent ER doctors with many years of experience and/or internship training. As a brand new facility, there are exciting opportunities for the criticalists to request new equipment and offer services based on preferences and interests. Each hospital is well-equipped with surgical suites, Hallowell ventilators (the newest hospital has Bennet 840 long-term ventilator), digital radiography with 3-hour turnaround time of radiologist interpretation, in-house laboratory including
the newest NOVA blood gas analyzers, ultrasound, continuous blood pressure
monitoring, and cross-communication of medical records and radiographs between hospitals.
Qualifications:
The candidate must possess a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM) and has completed a ACVECC approved residency training program, or is board certified in emergency and critical care medicine prior to the date of hire.
The four 24-hour emergency hospitals, located in the Phoenix area, serve the communities of Central Phoenix, Scottsdale, Peoria and Avondale. All of our hospitals are well equipped with:
Surgical suites
Anesthetic ventilators
Digital radiography (including second party radiologist interpretation)
Comprehensive in-house laboratory diagnostics (including NOVA blood gas analyzers)
Ultrasound
Cross-communication of medical records and radiographs between hospitals.
Each hospital offers a variety of services and partnerships with specialists to provide quality care for pets
