Position Profile
The Visit Scheduler provides visit nurse scheduling to effectively manage personal resources to meet patient and family needs.
Responsibilities
Schedules Visit Nurses based upon patient needs, staff qualifications and availability.
Maintains and updates schedules with current information.
Tracks Visit Nurses scheduled and unscheduled time off.
Works in conjunction with Visit Nurses to plan for patient coverage during planned vacation/absence.
Sends visit dispatch/electronic profiles to visit nurses.
Assist with coordination of PTO approval and scheduling coverage.
Maintains and enhances professional skills,
Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum two years office/clerical experience.
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous scheduling experience is preferred.
