What You’ve Accomplished

You have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline; comparable experience in lieu of degree may be considered. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a closely related role for at least 2 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

  • Experience with SAP ERP.

  • Knowledge of the supply chain management field, practices and methods.

  • Experience with product & service providers or other supplier related interfaces.

  • Commodity management experience.

  • Experience dealing with contract management and negotiations.

    Your Opportunity

    This full-time role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Buyer in Kincardine or Pickering, Ontario (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

  • Provide support to the Supply Chain team in the development and implementation of a Supply Chain strategy for nuclear components and services

  • Gathers and reports metrics to assess effectiveness of purchasing operations

  • Performs spend and commodity analysis

  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers

  • Displays business acumen in communication with colleagues, suppliers and customers.

    The Framatome Purchasing organization is responsible for cost-effective purchasing/procurement of goods and services per Corporate requirements to support the Company’s objectives in a timely and cost efficient manner. The position provides levels of Purchasing support associated with the various company functions, outage related business and projects to support work performed by the Canada Installed-Base business unit.
