Avera St. Mary’s Hospital is looking for a Radiology Technologist (ARRT) lll to join our Team!

  • Coordinates and performs a variety of diagnostic procedures in general radiology.

Job Summary

* Operate specialized equipment to produce images for diagnostic interpretation.

  • Must be familiar with radiation safety procedures relating to patient and self-practice consistently. Following established guidelines to assure safety and accuracy.

*Identify each patient using a dual identification and confirm the proper exam is being performed.

Responsible for delegated areas of authority in the performance of routine special procedures.

Education and/or Experience

  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.

  • 0 – 6 months of experience is preferred.

License/Certification/Registration

  • Must be certified by and maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

  • Must have and maintain 2 or more additional radiology certificates beyond ARRT registration and certification. Preferably MRI, CT, Mammography or Ultrasound.

  • BLS completed within 6 months of start date is required and must be maintained.

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday; 72 hours every 2 weeks

  • Day, Evening, and Night shifts

  • Occasional weekend

  • Occasional holiday

  • Occasional call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate is dependent upon experience.

  • $30.25 - $45.75 per hour
