What you'll do:

Serving as the P&G physical security leader of a company site to ensure a safe and secure work environment; also known as the first line of defense (1LOD) for site physical security & fire protection areas. Ensure consistent execution of the physical security process delivery & fire protection systems and standards at the site level while ensuring there is a P&G employee in place to provide overall site security guidance and service provider oversight.

Key responsibilities:

  • Site Fire Protection Leader

  • Manage Fire inspection program at site - building required Fire Protection Capability, ensure site follows P&G procedures for reporting fire incidents and lead the investigation, ensure site is compliant for fire Key Element Assessment (KEA) & deliver on fire KEA Action Plans.

  • Maintain inspection schedule for all fire protection at site and Review inspectors’ reports for thoroughness and detail and ensure fully implement P&G FP standards & obligations towards insurance.

  • Follow local laws, codes and P&G requirements for repairs and alterations. Use code shops for repairs and alterations. Conduct annual internal audit of (FP).

  • Ensure an effective and qualified ERT and Emergency Plan with quality and timely studies of new installations / modifications of current systems through the change management system.

  • Ensuring that flammable, combustible, and hazardous materials meets P&G requirements (proper storage, spacing, diking, ventilation, drainage & electrical classification). Conduct regular tours to eliminate risks, correct unsafe conditions, correct unsafe behaviors.... etc. in the plant.

  • Site Security Leader

  • Guidance for physical security program understanding to site business unit leaders and residents as required utilizing tools provided by Global Security.

  • Ensures the physical security of the site meets minimum global policy and standards as established by the Global Security Asset Protection Rating. Note: At Alexandria site, this is accomplished by effective partnership with Sodexo.

  • Completion of the Global Security Asset Protection Rating – Site Self-Assessment by end of September on annual basis. Note: The Third-party Physical Security Provider responsible for facility management works collaboratively with site PSL; providing data for the completion of the APR Site Self-Assessment. The PSL needs to review and Approve the Submitted data.

  • Completion of the Global Security Site Physical Security Delivery Assessment on a quarterly basis; ensure this is Submitted and Approved via the online tool by last business day of the quarter.

  • Collaborate with Global Security Manager site resource to ensure the facility is protected in accordance with expectations of the local business unit leadership.

  • Liaison for information security awareness at the site to help business leader(s) understand how the program works if there are questions and direct them to organization(s) Information Security Champion(s) or Site Cyber Security Leader.

Job Qualifications

You are a good fit here if you:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Security and Fire Protection Experience.

  • Crisis and Emergency Management Experience .

  • Physical Security Experience .

  • Fire Fighter Instructor Trainer.

  • Early experience working within security management.

  • Ability to lead projects and work autonomously to bring definition to open ended business situations.

  • Proven collaboration skills – can lead internal/external multi-functional teams and meet externally driven deadlines despite multiple priorities.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and in writing.
