Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and processing accounts payable data. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of financial operations within our team.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain precise records of customer credit

• Respond and resolve customer inquiries related to accounts payable

• Keep a close eye on customer accounts and take necessary action when required

• Data entry related to accounts payable

• Utilize software such as Sage, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for various tasks

• Ensure all invoices are coded correctly and processed

• Perform account reconciliation tasks

• Conduct check runs regularly

• Continually monitor and update customer records. Requirements • Must possess a strong understanding and working experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in using financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks and SAP is required

• Adept in account reconciliation and check runs

• Must have experience in coding invoices and invoice processing

• Strong data entry skills are essential

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is needed

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are a must

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work is required

• Should have problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze information

• Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles is essential

• Must have the ability to uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.
