The Application Developer 2, as an integral part of consumer lending, commercial banking and credit risk development and support organization is responsible for ensuring that IT provides optimized designs, development, and support to FNB business in support of strategic imperatives. The incumbent shall adhere to development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) standards at every phase of development lifecycle. The incumbent is also responsible for providing production maintenance and support, design, and application documentation, and partnering with key business stakeholders, project management, security, and operations team to ensure holistic and successful development, deployment, and support of application. Below are some key skills to be successful in this role: Experience supporting end-to-end lending systems with in-depth experience with ASP.Net, Java, JavaScript, REST/SOAP Hands on experience with testing with Postman and SoapUI and source controls with GitHub Familiar with agile tools - Rally and Jira and database (DB) MS SQL, oracle, no-SQL DB Knowledge of core banking systems, Azure data warehousing solutions and Power BI

Position Title: Application Developer 2 Business Unit: Technology Reports to: Various

Position Overview: The Application Developer 2 is a core member of the Information Technology team.The incumbent is responsible for development related to the applications for which the team supports.The incumbent could develop integrations, reports/analytics, and/or websites.The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in requirements analysis, system design, database design, documentation and maintaining appropriate coding standards.

Primary Responsibilities: Analyzes requirements, designs solution and writes design documents Mentors other developers on business applications and development practices Assists line of business with user testing, user training, and requirements definitions Writes the code needed to support the assigned applications Supports the applications/integrations for which the team is responsible Follows standards and guidelines in creation of the software and to protect information and writes high quality code.Takes an active role in identifying areas of the application/integration that can be made more efficient Develops, optimizes and maintains internal coding Documents system functionality in accordance with department and corporate standards Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
