PeopleReady of Pittsburgh, PA is now hiring Dishwashers! The Event Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and organizing all dishware, cleanliness of the kitchen, food preparation, organization and sanitation as well as closing and clean up of the catering kitchen as needed for banquets/events.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Dishwasher:

• Must clear event tables of all used dishware and safely transport to the kitchen.

• Perform in a face paced environment.

• Stand or walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods.

• Responsible for the disposal of all food waste, trash receptacles and breakdown of boxes and larger containers to be placed in dumpsters.

• Must sweep and mop all kitchen area floors as directed.

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day) , 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

• Previous experience in kitchens or cleaning roles preferred but not necessary.

• Flexibility in a busy environment and strong communication skills.

• Ability to be stationary for lengthy periods of time. 

• Ability to frequently lift and move 10 pounds, and occasionally bend or balance.

• Background Check Required.
