Duties: Deploy EDA Emulation software and hardware solutions. Guide the customers regarding design bring-up. Win pre-sales engagements in cooperation with the technical sales team. Educate customers on best practices and tool requirements. Work with research and development team to make tool improvements. Work with research and development to solve problems, review product specs, and find general solutions that improve the overall product. Develop and enhance methodology that exploits the solution's capabilities. Ensure customers are up-to-date with the latest software enhancements. Provide customer requirements to research and development and marketing.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Applications Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following: Working with VLSI Design; Working with Hardware Design Languages like Verilog, VHDL, or System Verilog; Programming in C or C++; Scripting in Python or Bash; Working with EDA simulation tools (ModelSim, QuestaSim or VCS), EDA Hardware Emulation platforms (Veloce, Zebu, or Palladium), or FPGA development tools (Xilinx or Altera). Telecommuting permissible pursuant to company policy. 20% domestic travel required.
