Job Description

An employer is looking for a Lead Security Data Analyst in the Plano, TX area. You will partnering with the cyber security and risk management group on a large, data ingestions and data mapping initiative to build out custom dashboards reflecting real time security metrics. You will identify/ develop KPIs for the enterprise and engineer/ automate reporting related to API utilization, risk analysis, and other third party security reports. You will bring the data in through various channels, cleanse /validate the sources and customize the API integrations to accurately portray these metrics. You will also leverage security tools to pull this data and collaborate with related data teams to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the IT security programs. Additional tasks will include driving security strategy, highlight key metrics for better visibility and act as the main POC for any data/ reporting related security requests.

Skills and Requirements

5-10 years experience in enterprise data reporting and analysis

Strong knowledge/ background in cyber security and risk management processes/ frameworks

Background in building custom reports and dashboards

Experience with API/ data integrations and utilization in cloud environment (Azure preferred)

Well versed with DOMO for analytics, reporting and SQL

Knowledgeable on security tools/ best practices, vulnerabilities and incident response methodologies PowerBI
