Sr. Full Stack Software Developer – Data Security
Operating within the Cyber Fusion Center, the Global Data Security Team is responsible for safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of Company's data assets and our client seeks a Sr. Full Stack Software Developer / Data Security individual for a 6+ month contract opportunity in Plano, TX. This role is dedicated to developing scalable full-stack solutions, middleware, and automation to accelerate and enable global risk reduction initiatives while proactively mitigating Company's exposure to cyber risks.
Contract Duration: 6+ month Contract; Contract to Hire
Hybrid, onsite 3 days/week
Required Skills & Experience
Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, C#, C++) and scripting language (Python, bash, PowerShell)
Proficient in developing full-stack applications and rapidly prototyping solutions to support automated data collection, aggregation, and analysis.
Experience in SQL, data modeling, and ETL development.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and development tools like Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, etc.
Experience with public cloud services (Azure, AWS, Alibaba).
Knowledge of foundational IAM concepts (Authentication, Authorization, RBAC, JIT) and Encryption.
Experience in one or more security domains (e.g. Data security, Network security, Application Security, Cloud Security) is a plus.
Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions is a plus.
Experience with Microsoft APIs is a plus.
Experience with algorithms, predictive ML models, NLP, or AI is a plus.

Years of experience
- 5+ years in software development; or master’s degree in computer science/engineering or related cyber field, and 2 years of relevant experience.

What You Will Be Doing
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable solutions to enable data protection and risk reduction initiatives.
Develop technical documentation (i.e. system design, architecture diagrams, data flows, functional specifications).
Contribute to defining the future state of cybersecurity within the organization by conducting technical assessments between the current state and the desired state across security tools and services.
Develop program metrics, continuously measure progress and Impact, and drive improvements.
Collaborate with the Senior leadership and cross-functional team including security operations, legal, privacy, data and analytics, enterprise architecture, Platform team, and sector functions.
Execute projects, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with the team's vision, mission, and goals.
Create and deliver training sessions; mentor junior team members; and engage in knowledge transfer sessions, technical design reviews, security reviews, and business review meetings.
