+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Job Title:Screed Operator - Plant City | | | | Must have the following to apply: | | | | - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred | | - Minimum of 2 years working knowledge of screed operation on | | asphalt paver in the construction, maintenance and repair of | | roads, highways, parking lots and other large job sites | | - Valid Florida driver's license and ability to meet company MVR | | requirements | | - Ability to complete all required paperwork | | - Willing to work days, nights or weekends as needed | | | | Required Screenings: | | Drug Testing/Screening (Pre-Employment and Random); Background Checks | | (Local, State and Federal history check); Motor Vehicle Record. | | | | Job Description: | | The company is seeking to fill aScreed Operatorposition for the Plant | | City operations. | | | | Duties and Responsibilities: | | | | - Requires observation of distribution of paving material along the | | screed and control of the screed to eliminate voids at curbs and | | joints | | - Set up screed electronics in conjunction with the paver operator | | - Perform normal adjustments for obtaining depth, grade and | | finished cross-section of asphalt material via screed control | | - Estimates overall quantity needed for the project and quantity | | needed for the correct grade in the finished surface | | - Requires an understanding of all aspects of paving industry | | including, but not limited to prep work, grades, drainage, paving | | patterns, job specifications, compaction and other details | | related to asphalt paving | | - Perform light mechanical adjustments and to assist with mechanic | | repairs on assigned equipment | | - Follow safe practices and procedures | | - Other duties as assigned | | | | Hiring Process: | | Apply in person, via email, or company website.
