We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician for a manufacturing company in Hartford County. This person will be repairing, maintaining, and sometimes setting up manufacturing machines. Facilities maintenance is a plus but is not required. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment is preferred.

salary: $50,000 - $85,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or assists in installing, servicing and maintaining in the operating condition all of the equipment

• Make routine, periodic or special inspections to determine the necessity of the repair and maintenance of the plant machinery and equipment

• Use manufacturers' drawings and specifications, installation, layouts and sketches to facilitate internal handling of less than major repairs

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
