Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a Technician II to join their team. As a Technician II, you will be part of the technical support team, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electronic equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technician II

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Pay Range: $32.49 per hour

What's the Job?

• Utilize schematics, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to adjust, repair, maintain, and test electronic equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic devices down to the component level.

• Perform as a Bench Technician and assist end users with troubleshooting via phone and/or e-mail.

• Work within a production test environment, ensuring quality and efficiency.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve technical issues.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Electronics or an Electronic Tech certification.

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices.

• Prior experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology) is required.

• Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as DMM, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.

• Basic computer skills are necessary for documentation and communication.
