Philips RTR Accounting Manager in Plymouth, Minnesota

RTR Accounting Manager (Plymouth, MN)

We seek an experienced Accounting Manager. (S)he will play an integral role in executing the accounting for a fast-growing business unit within a 4B+ healthcare business with a high degree of complexity. This role will specifically focus on assisting us with an ERP system migration. The successful candidate will be one who has strong technical accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and collaborates effectively across the accounting team. This role will require active engagement in the details, both in execution and in problem-solving.

Your role:

  • Work with Accounting Controller to understand current and future state accounting processes. Assist with process changes, where necessary.

  • Manage the trial balance for all non-SAP ORU’s – currently 6.

  • Assist with SAP implementation.

  • Manage all data sets required for data migration (i.e., cost center lists, fixed asset listings, etc.)

  • Manage intercompany accounts - work with partners to understand variances, clear outstanding / aged transactions.

  • Support transfer pricing process throughout the value stream.

  • Manage a team of 2 specialists

  • Complete special projects to ensure correct accounting for Business KPI’s & metrics.

  • Perform any ad hoc activities or analysis, as is required by the accounting team or business.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a shared service environment.

  • Profound knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes.

  • Proven track record to maintain financial statement integrity.

  • Experience with SAP.

  • Experience with QuickBooks (preferred).

  • Medical Device industry experience (preferred).
