SUMMARY

The storeroom clerk stores purchased products and equipment in the proper areas. This individual consolidates, organizes, monitors expiration dates and rotates products on daily basis. The storeroom clerk checks for the quality of the products as they are received. This individual also maintains cleanliness of his/her respected area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organizing products in a neat manner
  • Receiving products and insuring its quality
  • Storing and rotating products
  • Delivering products to needed areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of receiving area; storeroom; and the back dock area
  • Monitoring expiration dates of products
  • Consolidate products in proper area

This individual will be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear over 2/3 of the time. The storeroom clerk may be required to sit under 1/3 of the time.

The storeroom clerk is required to lift up to 25 pounds over 2/3 of the time, up to 50 pounds 1/3 to 2/3 of the time, up to or more than 100 pounds under 1/3 of the time.

Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) is required for this position.
