Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

As an Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for meeting business objectives in areas such as safety, quality, productivity, and responsiveness. Your role will involve counseling and supporting hourly employees, addressing performance behaviors, using quality network problem-solving processes, applying workplace organization processes to improve layouts and efficiency, performing daily timekeeping updates, and conducting daily meetings to communicate business performance. You will also perform safety observation tours, plan daily workloads, support colleagues, enforce shop rules, perform SOP audit checks, and advance skills through the Individual Development Plan process.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pontiac, Michigan.

Work Environment

This role operates in a 2 shift environment, with the first shift running from 6am to 2pm, and the second from 3pm to 11pm. Candidates must be flexible to work any shifts and move shifts as required by volume and business needs, including an average of 10 hours of overtime weekly. The dress code is business casual with safety measures like provided PPE necessary at all times on the plant floor. Both shifts handle significant daily shipping volumes, with the first shift focusing on shipping to the PDC and the second shift mainly handling shipping to dealers and other outlets.
