Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with at least 3 years of experience to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting across a variety of machinery including packaging equipment, X-ray machines, blenders, mixers, baggers, labelers, ink jet coders, and heat shrinking machines. Responsibilities include electrical troubleshooting and wiring up to 480V motors, repairing variable frequency drives, troubleshooting PLCs, using HMI programs, mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, replacing and repairing photo eyes, and MIG and TIG welding plus fabrication.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in PORTAGE, Indiana.

Work Environment

Clean manufacturing facility, temperature-controlled. The 200,000 sq. ft. facility features advanced packaging machines, conveyors, and food processing machines. Positions available for 2nd (3PM - 11PM) and 3rd shifts, with a mechanical technician also present on the 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM).
