Job Overview

Wright-Ryan is currently seeking a full-time, experienced Concrete Carpenter to join our Field Operations team. Under the supervision of a foreman or superintendent, this position supports team efforts to meet production commitments by the efficient and effective completion of all basic field concrete activities as outlined below.

The Concrete Carpenter position plays a key role in helping us achieve our profit goals. This position uses his/her knowledge of fastening systems, basic trades and construction materials to work for the timely, safe and proper execution of assigned tasks that include but are not limited to: r igging materials for placement, grading using a laser, c utting/assembling concrete forms, layout/install: PT tendons and chairs, embeds, wood sill hold downs. Tie rebar and lay out PT cables, i nstall hang forms; Install structural steel anchor bolt sets, and setup brick shelf; Setup wall, corners, and pilaster with knowledge of the proper fillers to use.

Job Requirements

  • Reliably available 40 hours, good transportation, punctual

  • Solid work history

  • Experience with a wide variety of construction materials and fastening systems and jobsite activities

  • Ability to read plans and identify problems

  • Knowledge of the construction process and concrete carpentry’s role

  • Awareness of how concrete carpentry integrates with trades subcontractors

  • Strong verbal skills and focus on teamwork to ensure the crew’s success

  • Good organizational skills and attention to pace and accuracy

  • Ability to retrieve email for company announcements

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Five (5) years of experience in construction industry

  • Experience with construction materials and jobsite activities
