Jamie Benway with Robert Half is in search of a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is situated in the finance sector, with a focus on credit management. Our Sr. Financial Analyst will be instrumental in processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and managing customer inquiries about credit. This role also includes the responsibility of monitoring customer credit accounts and taking action to collect delayed payments.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain customer credit records with the utmost precision

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer credit accounts on a regular basis

• Take necessary action to collect delinquent payments

• Implement strategies to improve credit processes and procedures

• Analyze customer credit data to provide insights for decision-making

• Collaborate with the finance team to achieve departmental goals

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Report on credit operations and performance regularly.

Requirements • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably as a Financial Analyst, is required.

• Advanced knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.

• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.

• Adept at conducting business studies and presenting their findings to senior management.

• Profound understanding of the financial markets and investment strategies.

• High-level analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-thought-out decisions.

• Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information.

• High level of commercial awareness.

• Relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA/CPA) is a plus.
