Aerotek Fleet Mechanic in Portland, Oregon

Fleet Mechanic

Paying 32 / HR - 35 / HR

Location - Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair light, medium and heavy duty vehicles.

  • Perform D.O.T. inspections and lubrication services.

  • Electrical and drivability experience required.

  • Welding is a plus.

  • Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, engine and drivetrain repairs required.

Qualifications:

  • Two year certificate from college or technical school; and five year related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Basic computer, writing and communication skills.

  • Valid OR or WA driver's license and clean driving record.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Practice good house keeping by keeping work area and equipment clean and organized.

  • Interact with fellow teammates in a positive and respectful manner.

  • Be reliable and punctual.

Environment/ Shift:

  • Clean, spacious, and professional shop environment. Relaxed company culture.

  • Day Shift, Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm.
