Robert Half is seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated individual to become a Medical Scheduler supporting a respected healthcare organization local to Portland! This is a great opportunity for someone with prior healthcare administrative experience looking to join a great team.

The primary responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling patient appointments following standard procedures and protocols.

• Ensuring patients' data and records are accurately entered and maintained.

• Coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient logistics.

• Working closely with the billing department to ensure all insurance information is up-to-date.

• Providing excellent customer service, answering patient inquiries or directing them promptly to the appropriate department.

  Requirements

• At least one-year experience in a medical office or customer service setting.

• Experience in utilizing medical software for scheduling and records management - Epic experience in particular is highly desirable

• An understanding of medical terminology.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• A high level of organization and precision.
