HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Manager of Sales & Marketing Operations role is to ensure our system and our customers, especially NA retail, have the right information on their websites and the right product master data in their systems to enable sales. The primary areas of responsibility are to maintain sales and marketing data within the retail customers systems and leading the enhancement of Oregon Tools Fit-up/Cross Reference data.

THE DETAILS:

Primary Task (60%)

  • Full utilization of PIM and Syndication technology (Hybris, Salsify, Channel Advisor, CommerceHub etc.) and Vendor Product Content Management (PCM) portals for key retailers.

  • Key Areas of Focus:

    • eCommerce expansion and in store placements at various retailers
  • Platform utilization with Oregon Tool regional locations

  • Information and assortment accuracy on Oregon Tool Websites

  • SGD Digital catalog and assortment data / asset requirements

  • Identify and plan process improvements for PIM and Syndication technology data flow.

  • Work closely with cross-functional groups from Information Services, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing to ensure proper flow of information from SAP to Hybris (PIM), from Hybris to Salsify (Syndication tool)

  • Support Sales (Retail and SDG) and Marketing to provide data availability for Retail Line reviews, Seasonal product Launches

  • Meet with customer teams, in partnership with Sales, insight into Oregon Tool’s content standards and best practices

  • Influence retail partners and platforms to continuously enhance content syndication and evolution of capabilities and deliver a “best in class” vendor partnership

  • Work Closely with Information Services (IT) Team to implement new tech stack platforms / upgrades (DAM, PMM, PIM etc.) including testing / validation

  • Participate in various training programs directly from customer base and company internal

  • Manages initial set up and maintenance of North American retail website data

  • Works with the DevOps team to ensure inventory feeds and web sites are debugged

  • Conducts troubleshooting of Dealer Locator Data & website

  • Enriches Hybris & salsify data

    Fit Up (40%)

  • Define areas of data required to support the overall fit up objective

  • Establish needs from a database and extraction tool perspective

  • Prioritize data collection based on needs and weakness of current state

  • Lead the collection and dissemination of data

  • Promote the information available in system

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred, MBA or MIS a strong plus

  • 7 to 10 years of experience global management experience in Sales and/or Marketing roles for a company containing a large portfolio of products

  • Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing roles to support Sales

  • Able to complete responsibilities in a timely, professional and quality manner

  • Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information and gauge its importance when making decisions

  • Effective written and oral communication skills; able to express oneself clearly and in technical and non-technical terms; strong presentation skills for executive-level presentations

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy strategy consistent with Oregon Tool’s objectives

  • Creative thinker

  • Collaborative and effective team player and able to work with teams who are globally dispersed

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred)

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,200 to $120,000.
