As a Consultant you will be joining the Commercial Managed Services (CMS) – US Nearshore team (USNS) , part of the IQVIA Technology and Commercial Solutions (T&CS) within Analytics Solutions pilar. The USNS team works closely with leading pharmaceutical companies, taking over tasks and end-to-end processes in analytics and technology solutions. You will actively participate in the development and delivery of sales analytics and consulting projects for a wide range of pharmaceutical companies. We expect you to be proactive, curious, engaged, and innovative, capable of providing the best insights and solutions for customers.

Responsibilities
Performs qualitative and quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and develop client specific solutions
Translates the data into meaningful insights and communicates recommendations to key decision makers
Proactively develops broader and deeper knowledge of technology/services solutions and trends for the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences market
Participates/leads teams in the design, development and delivery of technology/service-based projects or components of larger and complex projects
Assists with the review and analysis of client requirements or problems and assists in the development of proposals and client solutions
Provides follow-up with internal and/or external client to ensure client satisfaction
Ability to gather client needs and develop new analytical solutions
Working independently and as part of a team, with ability to manage work streams, assigning tasks and driving them to completion. May assist with business development activities
Independently creates presentations for clients and attends, supports and presents at client meetings
Provides thought leadership and innovation within project and practice areas
Leads project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data and coordinating team meetings
Works with leadership to define project scope and develop approach
Assists in developing detailed documentation and specifications, including business process documentation, SOPs, and client data scorecards
Develops broad knowledge of related consulting methodologies and pharmaceutical market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities
Helps improving how clients build marketing capabilities by identifying and focusing on key opportunities that can drive increased growth
Prepared to learn and be expert at all IQVIA data sources, specifically US dedicated data assets, including SMART, P360, MIDAS, AnalyticsLink, and associated products
Be able to quickly learn and work with sales and promotional data, market and epidemiology assessment, pipeline analysis and market research
About You
Candidates interested in joining our team as an Consultant should have:
MSc degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 3/5 years of relevant healthcare experience namely understanding processes and key issues within the pharmaceutical marketplace
Well-developed English written and verbal communication skills including presentations, leading meetings, business and report-writing
Strong experience with MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Excel VBA would be beneficial)
Hands-on experience in business intelligence tools SAS, SQL, R, Tableau, PowerBi, Qlik or similar
Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex analysis into strategic insights and recommendations for sales and marketing teams
US healthcare market experience is preferred
Experienced with developing consultative relationships with senior level managers and executives at clients in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry
Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
Excellent presentation, communication and client influencing skills
Strong capability in managing priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistent and high-quality outcomes
Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline
Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques
Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors
Previous experience can include: prior internship, project work, and/or working experience in any of the following consulting projects: market research, marketing insights, marketing analytics, multichannel marketing, consumer marketing, branding, forecasting, statistics, predictive modelling, primary market research, technology & applications, healthcare IT, managed markets, management consulting, sales force effectiveness, sales operations, business intelligence, epidemiology, HEOR, data mining, data governance, outsourcing, offshoring, web analytics, data development and programming, and Google Analytics
Other Considerations
Location : Lisbon, Portugal Nearshore dedicated. Hybrid model (office and home-based per week)
Working hours : 1 pm to 9 pm , as time shift to be consistent with US CET time zone
Travel : Ability to travel to US if needed for short periods <15 days
