What will you do

The position will work in collaboration with the Operations, IT, Global Quality & Lab Systems teams, develop and/or introduce new IT quality management and lab systems processes and improve existing IT systems that enable effective business solutions for the Quality organization.

The individual will drive the quality systems roadmap in partnership with the IT organization in order to progress to a 100% digital quality and laboratory system. Partner directly with quality data analytics and automation leads to ensure a cohesive plan to drive to reach digital goals and eliminate manual processes. Manage application and lifecycle aspects of Quality Management and Lab Systems to ensure applications are maintained in a compliant and validated state.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute technology deployments as a business product owner to deliver new capabilities that provide efficiencies for the QHS function:

• Understanding of business requirements, scientific data, compliance considerations, and processes for laboratory information management, life sciences compliance, and/or computer systems validation

• Experience implementing Laboratory Information Management Systems for life sciences as a consultant, business, or IT representative

• Contribute to the development of business technology strategies by integrating processes, standards, and applications/tools across GMP regulated areas for Kenvue

• Ensure deployment and support is managed in a standard way driving towards optimal cost and flexibility, balance this need for standardization with the business needs to drive optimal customer service

• Identify and implement opportunities for process automation to improve user experiences, eliminate/automate repetitive tasks

• Digital/AI tools that use analytics to facilitate decision-making processes in quality and ensure more robust process adherence

• Direct experience with systems such as LabWare, SQL LIMS, LabVantage, StarLIMS, SampleManager, SmartLab, BIOVIA, Nugenesis, Empower, Laboratory Information Manager System, QMS, ELN, LIMS, and other informatics or similar systems will be advantageous

Support data quality initiatives for the quality function by:

• As new quality and lab systems are designed and built, identify opportunities for streamlining master data and transactional data governance for quality systems to support the GPO and data quality/data asset teams

Business lead for future state architecture:

• Executes business process capabilities to functional mapping to ensure quality system design/future state enhancements remains in defined boundaries/standards via a change control mechanism

• Develop intake process to ensure proposed enhancements/functionalities/tools in Quality and Lab systems are appropriately assessed to determine the correct technology solution

• Owns and maintains BPD mapping documentation for global quality management systems

SAP QM Process Owner:

• Build and Support Master Data governance/processes for global implementation of OneS4

• Build a governance process for system enhancements post launch to ensure future improvements are aligned with Quality/Operations architecture

• Owns process standardization for quality management SAP process and key interface to GPOs to implement design solutions to ensure compatibility with Quality system processes and integrations

Qualifications

What we are looking for

• 8 years’ experience in technology deployments (QMS, laboratory, ERP applications, supply chain systems), that span technologies such as systems and applications, RPA/BOTs, visualization/dashboards, tools using AI, process automation

• Experience in process harmonization (problem solving skills)

• Proven record of strong leadership and influencing skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with SDLC/Agile Methodology/product development

• Experience in data science and analytics

• Experience with Microsoft Power apps

• Strong Program and Project Management Experience - leading projects globally (working lots of senior regional leads)

• Experience in building digital tools with outside vendors

Desired Experience in:

• Managing large-scale projects

• Leading cross-functional teams

• Implementing quality control processes in a regulated industry

• Managing project spending within forecasted budget
