PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
Consistently produce high-quality stitching and assembly of outdoor living shades and covers, adhering to company standards and specifications.
Meet or exceed daily production targets while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy in sewing tasks.
Ensure precise following of patterns and instructions to produce products that meet design specifications without errors.
Complete assigned sewing tasks within designated timeframes to contribute to the overall production schedule and meet customer deadlines.
Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to identify and address any defects or discrepancies, ensuring only high-quality items are passed for further processing.
Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor issues, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating sewing equipment and handling materials, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Collaborate effectively with other team members, such as cutters, assemblers, and supervisors, to facilitate smooth workflow and achieve production goals.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement in sewing techniques, equipment usage, or workflow efficiency, and contribute ideas for enhancing productivity and quality.
Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changes in production schedules, priorities, or tasks, maintaining productivity and quality under varying circumstances.
Communicate any issues or concerns related to sewing tasks, equipment, or materials to supervisors or relevant team members promptly and clearly.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in sewing or textile manufacturing is preferred.
On-the-job training will be provided; additional technical training in sewing is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
? Ability to move around the work area and operate sewing machines.
? Ability to handle small sewing components and materials.
? Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while operating sewing machines.
? Ability to lift and carry textile materials up to a certain weight limit, typically around 50 pounds.
? Good vision for inspecting fabric and ensuring precise sewing.
? Ability to hear instructions and machine operation sounds in a busy environment.
? Perform work with OSHA required PPE.
