Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage flavor creation initiatives from customer requests to meet project objectives while adhering to industry regulations, customer restrictions, and consumer needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain expertise and leverage relevant creative work into HNC Taste categories (Early life nutrition, medical nutrition, dietary supplements, pharma and nutrition improvement)

  • Regularly taste new raw materials and relevant market products to identify new opportunities and understand market dynamics.

  • Take advantage of proactive projects to extend the use of dsm-firmenich ingredients to differentiate flavors and create new maskers, modulators and tonalities following the market needs

  • Share knowledge through appropriate tools and participate in the deployment of global projects to the region.

  • Collaborate with operations, quality and support functions to optimize flavors and improve profitability

    You bring

  • Flavorist with chemistry or food science education

  • Min 5 years relevant experience in formulation

  • Experience in Maskers and Taste Modulations, Sweet Goods, Pharma categories and technologies

  • Second language is a plus

  • Curious, open-minded with good communication and networking skills

  • Able to manage within an international matrix organization
