Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Data Risk Programs will be responsible for supporting the implementation and ongoing management of our global privacy program, that will embody local and global privacy requirements. This role will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with Data Protection and Privacy laws in the US and globally. The Senior Manager, Data Risk Programs will collaborate with in-country Privacy Liaisons and promote and operationalize the Privacy and Data Protection policies and processes established by the office of Data Risk Office (DRO) across the company's business functions and markets, worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Management: Supports the Data Privacy focused initiatives and programs at jurisdiction/global level in collaboration with in-country privacy liaisons, global and local business functions, procurement, cybersecurity etc;.

Policy Development: Monitors and prioritizes data privacy changes impacting BMS markets and associated business processes. Contributes to the DRO roadmap and ensures implementation as per objectives.

Training and Awareness: Drive adoption of Data Privacy Policies, Processes and Standards, provides support, advice and guidance to the organization on their data protection obligations and responsibilities. Supports the design, development and maintenance of an ongoing awareness program through broader communication and focused training for employees and partners.

Compliance Monitoring: Deals with queries from business functions on their ongoing activities and plans, provide consultation on protection regulation compliance and help identify appropriate solutions.

Incident Management: Participates in privacy incident management and breach assessment as well as monitoring activities.

Stakeholder Management: Supports various stakeholders in the management and coordination of periodic privacy reviews and remediation efforts. Coordinates with legal, compliance and cyber-security personnel, as needed to support integration of privacy, compliance, and security activities and operations. Implements corporate privacy strategy through integrated roadmap and solutions. Works with global and local business process owners and functional leads to define privacy requirements and controls for all business programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Management, Law, Economics, and Management, International Private and Public Law, International Privacy Law or a related field plus a minimum of 5 to 9 years of post-baccalaureate experience reflecting ability in the skill set described above.

  • Strong understanding of Data Protection and Privacy laws in the US and globally.

  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in privacy or compliance programs.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
