SUMMARY

The Sr. Freight Specialist will support Integra's pursuit of Customer Excellence through building relationships with sites and suppliers to ensure compliance with Transportation Department Policies. Work with planners, sites, suppliers, customer service and carriers to ensure damage-free, timely and cost-effective movement of goods. Diligently track shipments through to completion to support critical Integra operations continuity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with planners and shipping sites to optimize shipment methods

  • Arrange shipments, organize and store paperwork related to shipments

  • Timely maintenance of daily tracking report of Integra shipments

  • Closely monitor and diligently work with carriers to track, trace and re-route shipments as necessary, following through to delivery

  • Work cross-functionally to improve efficiency of Integra departments

  • Engage with internal and external partners to develop solutions to unique Transportation problems

  • Implement efficiency improvements to processes as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Support Integra Transportation Globally

Desired Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in freight industry

  • High level of persistence and excellent follow through

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated computer skills

  • Customer service experience a plus

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration

  • Demonstrated proficient time management skills
