BlackRock USWA Product & Platform Team – Alternatives Operations Analyst in Princeton, New Jersey

About this role

Responsibilities:

  • Organize, process, and complete operational support tasks for successful onboarding and retention of Alts business

  • Provide ongoing educational support to the sales organization to ensure high level understanding of onboarding process and serve as subject matter expert for our third-party distribution partners

  • Engage with advisors on in-depth onboarding inquiries, subscription document walkthroughs, and confirm wire instructions.

  • Liaise between advisors and third-party platforms to ensure subscription documents are in good order for all pending trades

  • Provide performance, product commentary and tax reporting upon request

  • Assist sales teams in data lookup and entry aggregating existing holders of our Alts products.

  • Liaise between advisor and BLK Dealer Service to support account maintenance requests in a timely fashion

  • Improve operational support processes via technology strategic thinking, and process management methodology

  • Seek opportunities for process optimization and enhancement through automation.

  • Assist in managing and provide reporting on firm-wide campaigns and initiatives

  • Provide constant communication to sales teams regarding status updates of various onboarding or operational requests

  • Partner with Alts Specialist Sales Leader to provide weekly (or maybe monthly) reporting on # of operational requests complete and pending to be shared with Alts Leadership Team

  • Partner with Alts Specialist Sales Leader to provide consistent stream of feedback on the onboarding experience for clients and where improvements may be needed

  • Partner with Alts Specialist Sales Leader (or someone in GPS/pillar) to build Alts Operations Playbook to help document the implementation nuances across our products and platforms

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Economics, Finance, Business, IT, Engineering, or Computer Science preferred)

  • Financial Services/Technology Industry experience preferred

  • Technology proficiency and analytical skills

  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, VBA)

  • Aladdin

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Market knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skill

  • 1-2 years of Alts operations experience, preferred
